Today is the day that Q got promoted to First Lieutenant! I couldn't be more proud of him!!
I got to pin on his second set of bars. The first set being 2ndLt over 2 years ago and now these! I think these have a different meaning to me because I actually understand what it means now.
Being a part of a promotion ceremony doesn't look like much but it has such a cool meaning behind it. It gets me every time they read the commitment letter that describes the job Q has to obtain for the USA. And when Q takes his oath, this makes me hold my breathe.
But it means so much to him and to everyone involved. It really means a lot, no matter how much they joke about things.
He sure looks way better with silver bars than gold bars, but I may be a little bias to silver metals.
Happy promotion day Q! You make us all very proud!
