It has been a long time since I have given a Cali update, so here we go...
She is growing so big! Compared to how she was when we first got her 3 weeks ago, she is getting there!
She is learning how to give signs to go outside to go potty. She either sniffs around the door or she stands up on the side of her cage. If you hesitate or say to yourself, "I am going to do this then take her outside," you have hesitated too long and she will go in her pen. She is getting it though which is so much nicer.
She jumps up on the couch ALL the time now. She loves laying up there with you or by herself. While I was putting laundry away yesterday, she walked into the living room and just went on the couch and fell asleep. It was so nice not having to worry about her without locking her in her pen.
She is sort of figuring out how to not bite you in the face. She still jumps up at your face but its normally licking or she punches you in the face with her paw... either way is better than biting!!!
She's not fully okay with new people and how to react when new people are around whether this is inside the apartment or outside in the parking lot. She still pees herself with excitement when she gets attention.
She went to the vet today and did amazing! She doesn't cry or fuss with anything. She took her shot like nothing happened. I don't know if it was the use of treats to distract her that worked or if she just really doesn't mind some things. I think I was more nervous for her first shot than she or Q was.
She is such a happy girl! She loves to go on walks and hang out with mom and dad! Her wittle tail is always wagging! So cute!
