While we were in Ohio, we got 4-5 inches of snow one night and this was the first time that Cali got to see/play in snow. She was so funny and she didn't totally understand what it was at first but then figured out that she could run in it and eat it also. She was so funny jumping around.

Piranha Pit
I know it has been a very long time since I have posted anything but life these days has made us very busy. Since we have returned from Florida, we have had Q's parents come visit us and we have also made the long trip up to Ohio for Christmas and have finally returned back to North Carolina so I am able to update you all on what has been going on. These photos are from Q's parents visiting us in Cherry Point. We went walking on the trails on base.
Q's dad and us with the doggies.

So happy to spend the day with him
Gotta love them
And Panda with her bows
After a long, long walk, the dogs still had energy to chase each other around... crazy crazy

Reminiscing
I was browsing through photos on the computer and I came across the ones from when we first got Cali back in June. I just loved how small she was. It is funny to look at the photos and notice that things we did with her back then, like Q laying on the floor and Cali climbing all over him and licking him, and realize that we still do that now and she does the same things back to him.
Cali was about 2 months old in this photo.
This is her today at 7 months and still loves to lay on him
Her cute and small little face

Christmas Wreath
While in Pensacola FL and Q was at work, I made this wreath. Thanks to Joni (Q's mom) who supplied me with the vine wreath and greenery and sparkle things, I was able to figure out how to make my first wreath.
First I added the greenery and attached it with wire.
First I added the greenery and attached it with wire.
Then I slowly pushed in each sparkle piece
So I think it turned out pretty well for my first wreath. I hope to continue this throughout the year with different inspired themes.

Another graduation
Q is another graduation down.... He graduated yesterday from his Aviation Maintenance Officer course! Finally the two month time apart has come to a close and we can go back to our normal life again. We have a long drive a head of us to get back to North Carolina and I can't wait! I am so proud of Q for hanging in there and focusing on his school work while he was there. He has been in school for the Marines since last October and now we can finally say that he is starting an actual job now! He is excited! Congrats Q! Love you!

Skyline
Been away from Cincinnati for too long, so we decided we needed a Skyline fix. So we bought the frozen version, some hot dogs, and cheese...
With a little bit of milk and bam, we have some homemade skyline cheese coney/3-way! It wasn't as good but it will make-do until we can get there next month.

Flying high
I have been to so many different beaches in my life but Pensacola Beach was really neat. Even though it is December and it was kind of deserted, I could feel the sweet summertime vibe. We went up into the ferris wheel on the beach that allows for a 360 degree view. It was amazing!!

Life Happiness
Some days you just have to be thankful for what you have and where you are even if it is not home.
This is one thing that I have started to get used to in this new life.
I feel like the past 6 months have involved a lot of moving and traveling, but some days I wake up and think how thankful I am for having a husband who is my best friend....
For the wonderful life that we have the opportunity to live...
For the places we have been, whether we are together or apart...
For our happiness...
For my freedom to take the time to decide what I want to do in life...
And the love I feel every day that we are together or far away!

Cali 7 months old!
On this road trip, Cali figured out that she can climb up into the back window of my car- she's getting so big. She really enjoyed this because she could see around more and she gets more air up there when I roll down the windows.
So you can imagine she was up and down and up and down.
This is what I see when I look in my mirror.
Since we have been in FL, she got a haircut and is not so shaggy looking. She's so cute!
