Started at 4:30a this morning when Q had to get up for his first day of IOC training. This is the day we have been waiting over 3 months for. We have been wanting it to start so that we can count down the days until it is over in about 12 weeks. Well today being day 1, it has a bittersweet feeling to it. We are not fully aware of what to expect but we know that it is going to consist of long days for the both of us. The IOC prep time for the past month has been a blessing but also the devil; we have been able to spend so much time together that we thought we wouldn't get but I hope that it does not cause this change to be even harder.
The other downfall to Q going to full time work today was that left me with the devil, I mean Cali, all day. Currently I can not do much of anything because she chews on everything and if she is not doing that then she is probably pooping or peeing. She is definitely testing my limits. I think of a total of 5 times that she went outside, all 5 she did NONE of her business and then came inside and relieved herself within the first 5 minutes. Needless to say I was slightly frustrated. She then took her long nap of about 2.5 hours and when I took her out this time she finally went. Thank you! Best birth control is getting a 8 week old puppy
She of course is still super cute. The cutest thing she does right now is putting her feet out the back and she crawls under the coffee table with them sticking out.
On her only 2 play times today, she has learned where the squeaker is in her toy and also where her toy bin is and how to pull things out of it. I have to say it is nice she can do this on her own. She is trying to figure out how to jump up onto the couch with us also. She runs and launches herself at you and pretty much slams her face into the side of the couch. You can see in her face that she knows if she can get a little more speed then she thinks she can make it. One day she will be big enough.
