Extended Birthday

Yes, Cali's 1 year birthday was last Wednesday but we extended it to the weekend so Q could enjoy it too.  We took her to downtown New Bern and there just so happened to be a parade.  This was not your ordinary parade, but one that had older men driving really loud and crazy looking cars.

Cali was not so into the loud noise but it was good for her to be around it.  After it was over, we went to the dog boutique and got Cali some treats.  We got her a birthday cupcake for her to enjoy, and boy did she enjoy it.

We made her sit and wait to eat it.  She posed and looked so cute!

Then when she was finally allowed to eat it, she devoured it.  The peanut butter icing was a little thick and kept getting stuck to her mustache which was really comical.  Afterward she cleaned up her "mess" and probably ended up taking a nap.  She was one spoiled pup this week!
