Wow what a week last week was for me. Never a quiet moment, I worked every day I didn't have school and then when I wasn't at work or school, I was studying. It was really exhausting. I am glad it is over with and now I can focus on this week and Q coming home!!!!!!!
I took my nursing entrance exam last Saturday, and I received my results today! I am happy to say that I passed and got a score high enough to get into the nursing program, now I just have to wait to see if they select me. Since they have to wait for the spring semester to be over so they can factor in those points, they will not be sending out letters of acceptance till May. I hate playing the waiting game but I am very hopeful and think that I should make it. I am sitting in the 90-95th percent tile for the program and I have max bonus points on the application.
Other than that, we took our final written exam in my CNA class last week. I got a 99% which I guess is either saying I'm a genius or that the class is super easy (or a combo of the two). :) We started clinicals today, which I am not excited about but it has to be done. We are going to be rotating through 3 local nursing homes and assisting their CNAs. Once this is over, I can take my state test and become certified. It seems like time is going pretty slow with this class; I'm just ready to be done.
Q comes home this weekend! We cannot wait!! We miss him dearly! Hurry home Q!
