I want to give you a little update on the progress I have made so far on our home. Today marks the 4 week mark of when we started the move. What a long process it has been. I can't believe it has gone that quick already.
Lets start in the room I visit frequently. :) I am starting to really like this room. I just need some curtains because that morning sun coming through on weekend mornings is not welcomed much. I am trying to find something that I love; I haven't had any luck yet.
The next room is not at all how I want it really but I am still thinking about what I really want to do. There is quite a large empty wall behind the TV that I'm pondering. Also, don't mind the big TV next to the fireplace. The lamp burned out so I'm trying to figure out what to do next. I do like how well our furniture fits in here but I think I need to have a bolder accent color that can bring some life to the room.
Here's the breakfast area. I just love this window. It looks out into our wooded backyard. It brings in so much light. Miss Cali girl likes her spot as well.
Here is Q's debut of the kitchen the day we moved in. The kitchen is also hard for me to decide how I want it to look so it is another room that is very much in progress. I would really love white/tan counter tops, I do not love the black. It makes it look so dark. Oh well.
That is all the update I have for now. There are many more rooms to talk about but I don't have them really put together enough to capture. Give me a couple more weeks of this deployment and I'm sure I will have a lot to say. Overall I am enjoying putting it all together. I have done some trimming to the trees out front and have picked up some paint samples. If anyone knows me, you have to know that it takes me a little while to make a decision. Many projects to come!
