On the places you can go when you have a boat…
The wild horses that live on the island off the coast of Eastern NC are my favorite. It fascinates me that they can survive on the land out there. The islands are not that big, so I can imagine the amount of people that they see each year.
They just mind their own business while crazy people like me just keep taking their photos and being annoying.
Now Hammocks Beach State Park is pretty cool. It's just an island that you can pull up your boat and camp, hike, fish, etc. This is was a random discovery for us as we cruised around trying to decide what to do.
