We all know how much Cali LOVES the water, so we decided to take her on her first boat ride. I have to admit I was nervous. I was unsure of how she was going to react, how we were going to get her in the boat because she is afraid of everything, and how well she was going to do in motion. Well…. of course she did great and there was nothing to worry about.
We took her out to Shackleford Island, which you can see here that I went there with my mom and grandma back in the fall. I love this island. Since it is a state park, it is so peaceful, especially this time of year.
Q and I just wanted to relax but with a crazy puppy, that was not happening too much. She was up and down that beach faster than you can say go!
There was absolutely no hesitation when it came to the water as well. The water was in the 50s and she wasted no time.
We love being back at the beach after such a LONG winter!
Can't wait for more fun beach and boating days with my loves this summer! Will not be long now!!
