Haircut

It is so challenging to give Cali a haircut.  I have not taken her to a groomer yet because the one that I found requires her to be spayed and she is not yet.  Q and I have trimmed her one other time but this was the first time I had to do it on my own.  I started to do her head and then once it was mostly done she looked really funny because her head was so small compared to her huge body of hair so I had to do the rest.

 

I could not believe how long her hair actually was.  It may be kind of hard to tell the difference in these pictures but you can really tell in person.  I trimmed probably about an inch to two inches off of her.

I figured out that if I give her a kong with peanut butter in it then she does better at staying still. She is a fighter when those scissors come out!
